Our history

Ander Echebarria Manresa, with a Catalan mother and a Basque father, has run the Via Fora Restaurant since 2005, located on the banks of the Urumea River in the city of Donostia - San Sebastián.

A gastronomic commitment to a themed restaurant with a varied menu that contains specialties such as cheese boards, sausages and some toasts to snack on more informally, with the aim of promoting the best Catalan product in the city._cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

After several months of internships in Castellón, chef Ander Echebarria decided to add the latest touch to his gastronomic offer, paellas and rice dishes that have become the hallmark of Via Fora.
